Stacking cups & bricks {The Ordinary Moments} #13
Its Sunday, time to link up with Katie at mummydaddyme for this weeks Ordinary Moments
This week Arthur I have noticed that Arthur has really started playing with his stacking cups. We got him them for Christmas and he has always enjoyed playing with them individually and watching us build them up so he can smash them down. Now though he’s starting to stack them inside each other and trying to stack them up on top of each other.
He’s also starting to stack the little bricks from his brick trolly up top!
These new stacking skills are definitely things he’s still working on, it takes him a little while to do it and he hasn’t yet stacked anything more than one on top of another. He also gets pretty cross when it doesn’t go how he wants it to go. I can’t help but find it funny seeing him get frustrated when he can’t do it because he definitely got that trait from me, poor little guy!!
It’s really nice watching this skill developing, such a simple little thing but really it is a huge development for him! A big change for play time but something we will be spending lots of time doing for a long while to come!
Happy Sunday
It’s so amazing at this age watching them figure things out and playing with toys in different ways, even quite funny watching the frustration too, they get so desperate to do it! I love how they can get so engrossed in something too x

That is just amazing. The from afar the way he’s growing is pretty awesome, but seeing changes like this is even more exciting because it’s starting to show who is is as a character. Such a privilege to be able to see him developing as a person, thanks for sharing :).
We are a big fan of stacking cups here, both my girls loved them. We actually got some really gorgeous stacking wooden bricks for LL for Christmas but she still prefers her plastic ones! He looks so deep in concentration in all the photos- so cute watching them when they are like this!

Wow, is Arthur is just growing so much – every time I visit your page I notice such a change in him. I LOVE stacking cups too – so simple but so much fun and so rewarding when you get more than one hehe. Hope you are all well xx Ax

He is growing up so quick right before our very eyes. So cute. Love all the photos here. They really do grow up too fast. I am amazed at how fast it seems to be going especially the second time around. The milestones seem to flood in and I keep thinking when did that happen!! Before you know it he will be starting school. Wouldn’t it be nice if it went just a little bit slower? I wish. Lovely post. #ordinarymoments

Clever boy! I love that look of concentration on his wee face. I recognise the temper too – M gets mighty annoyed if he’s not able to do something… And yes I find it really hard not to laugh as well! x
How lovely, it’s funny how they love the simplest of things isn’t it? And I always love seeing his they change in the way they play with the same toy as they get older. Lovely photos and Arthur looks like he’s having a great time xx
