Tech-y {Word of the week}
This week I’ve decided to try and be a little bit more Tech-y and have joined two additional social networks!
Pintrest
&
Google+
Okay so I’m obviously a little late to both of these parties as I think everyone I know in the blogging world is already on them both!!
I’ve found Pinterest to be immediately likeable….hell, who am I kidding, I love it!!
It’s full of beautiful, interesting and fun things what’s not to love!! I’m finding so much inspiration for my blog and for, well, everything!
Google + seems like it’s going to take a little more time for me to get my head around! Everything I read though, suggests that it is really worth the investment!
Since coming back from the UK this summer, where I took a bit of a blogging break, I am really loving being back into it again. I want to make my blog the best it can be, I’m hoping that joining up with these two networks will help me with that!
If anyone has any useful tips for either of these sites it would be very appreciated as I’m still very much getting to grips with them!

I’ll find you and follow! The best person to ask about Pinterest is Jocelyn at The Reading Residence-she is the expert 🙂 As for G+, I still don’t really get it. I tend to flit in and out of it if I’m honest.Will her interesting to see what you make of it.

Yes Jocelyn definitely seems to be the Pinterest queen it was her post that got me to sign up for it in the first place 🙂
You’re not the only low-tech one, don’t worry – I’ve only just joined both of these too. Although I admit I stayed away from Pinterest as long as possible intentionally because I worried about wasting far too much time on it. And I was right, I do! x

I love pinterest too, it’s a fantastic place! However, I’m totally with you on the google+. I am on it, but still haven’t got a clue how to really use it. I really must search for some info. x

Ha ha – hooray for Pinterest! As for G+, it does take a while to get into, and I’m pretty hit and miss on it. I’d recommend checking out Kriss’ tips here http://overtheretohere.com/google-plus-tips/ as she’s the lady I go to for Google+! Thanks for sharing with #WotW x

Hello lovely, I love getting a little bit techy although I’m not too good at it! Pinterest is great for creating boards for all the little things you like. Anything you want some inspiration for. Take a look at some of your friends boards and use them for inspiration hon x

I still haven’t got round to joining Pinterest or Google+. Well, I think I’m on the latter by default but I’ve never actually investigated… I keep meaning to get my act together but I worry that if I join any more social networking sites I’ll never have time to do any writing!! I’m sure it won’t be long before I give in though… x

I’ve been on both of those for a while, but I’m pretty sure I’m not using them in the best way – I mostly just drooled over party ideas for both JJ & EJ’s parties earlier in the year on Pinterest! Don’t worry – you aren’t the only one late to the party. I’ve been on both for a while but don’t use them much at all. They’re on my to do list for once I’ve got settled in our new home! I’m a little worried about losing days to both when I really find my feet with them though. x
