Organisation {word of the week}
This week has had to be all about Organisation. We’ve had guests staying with us (they are going to be house sitting for us while we are away) and of course we have the big trip to the UK coming up.
Mark and I have been staying in Arthur’s room so we had to try and move stuff out of our room. Poor Arthur has had his room changed into bedroom for three/packing area.
Having 5 people living in our house has been a little bit cozy, our house really isn’t that big so I’ve been trying to stay in top of everything as much as possible (I find that difficult enough when there’s just the three of us!).
I’ve used a broom for my picture as that is truly the Seychellois best friend in keeping a tidy, organised house. Β houses here all have hard floors and hardly any one uses a vacuum cleaner. Β It’s all about the broom, and my how I’ve needed it. Β The house gets swept every day (amazing how much sand and dust comes in the house in just 24 hours) anyway but this week it’s been twice a day….that’s a lot of sweeping!
I have to say that I’ve been impressed with our organisation this week.
As we leave to catch a flight to Mahe island on Monday, Organisation will have to continue to be the word that sums us up this week……Packing WILL be a calm and organised affair, (packing is usually where my pre-trip panic usually truly sets in!!) and we will head of to Mahe on Monday fully prepared for our trip.*
I’m joining up with Jocelyn over at the reading residence for the first time.
*if I say this enough will it make it come true?!
I hope you have a fantastic trip, I bet you are looking forward to coming to England for a bit. Also please remember to bring your lovely weather with you π hope you have a great weekend xx #WotW

goodness sounds like you really do have your hands full at the moment lovely, and that is a heck of a lot of sweeping, though I can understand why it is needed at the mo! Hope all goes well with the packing – I’m sure it will, keep up the positive thinking π and have a wonderful trip! xx #wotw

Organisation is basically a life saver on holidays…It just never stops, right? I so wish I were more organised…As for having a full house, well, I shamefully admit that it is too much for me (after all, I am older than you…). I take it easy now!

Good for you that’s the way to be, it is definitely hard work with a house full!!!
Ha as a rule I’m not an organised person that’s why I’m so pleased with myself π
Oh, it sounds like you’ve had to be really organised! It’ll make all the difference to your trip, planning and organising well, and it sounds like you’re on it! Hope the pre-trip panic doesn’t set in and all goes well π Thanks very much for sharing and joining in with #WotW x

In the Philippines we have broom like this. We also have either hard stone floor and wooden ones. No vacuum cleaner as well. Electricity is precious and this is a form of exercise! I am glad to see one!
I hope that everything will get sorted out before you go here. I am excited for you! #wotw

I do agree that being organized before going out on a trip is a lot more beneficial. It might be tiresome at first but can be rewarding in the end. Thanks for sharing.
