29 weeks pregnant

I’m 29 weeks pregnant, if you missed last weeks post check out my 28 week update.

This week little boy bump weighs just under 1.2kg (about the same as a butternut squash) and is around 39 cm long!
His lungs and muscles are continuing to mature and his little bones are hardening up!

Waist measurement: 41 inches (+0 inches)

Here’s me this week (yep I’m wearing Mark’s shorts, we are well and truly at that point!)

I’m feeling pretty good despite sleeping really poorly most of the week.

I all of a sudden feel MASSIVE, despite my waist measurement not actually getting any bigger, I’m still definitely growing! I’m really noticing how slow I’m getting, especially getting up our stairs and when chasing Arthur! 
Arthur has been showing lots of attention to little boy bump again after a a little while of not being that interested!  He’s started waving hello to the baby and giving cuddles.  He still hasn’t noticed the movements, think it goes a little beyond his understanding, but now they are getting stronger and stronger, so I hope he will realise soon because I think he will love it!
You may have read about the toddler nap battles I’m having. We have now had two days in a row of flat out refusal to nap and man am I not loving it! The couple of hours he usually naps is when I get my rest in for the day and have some me time so fingers crossed this is just a very short phase!

I’m getting lots and lots of movement.  He seems to be getting really active and having a lot more awake time especially during the day, I love it!

Next week I will be back at the midwife and I should also get the date of of the 32 week scan.  We can’t wait to see our little guy again!

It truly feels like the countdown is on, he will be here in no time and we are so excited!!
