16 weeks pregnant
I’m now 16 weeks pregnant!
If you missed it check out my 15 weeks pregnant post!
This week Seychelles baba is the size of an avocado (around 12cm crown to rump) and has it’s own toenails….cute huh!!!
Here’s me and my 16 weeks pregnant bump!
Excuse the wet hair and crappy iPad shot again! I couldn’t find my camera!!
(ps that mattress on the floor is at the bottom of Arthur’s “big boy” bed in case he falls out….I’ll be doing a post about that soon!!)
Bump Measurement:
34.5 inches round my tummy at my belly button (+2 inches in 2 weeks!)
Feeling
This week has been crazy with moving house!! Now we are at the back end of the week I feel like we are catching up with ourselves a little!! It’s been so busy that I still haven’t really had much time to focus on being pregnant!
Something that has helped though is that people are now noticing my bump!! Kids at school have asked my husband if I’m pregnant and some people in my french class have said that they can really see it now! Yay! I know that sounds really silly and possibly a bit vein, but knowing that I am coming out of that squishy tummy phase and into proper bump phase makes me feel a lot more excited about being pregnant! I absolutely loved my bump with Arhur and now I’m starting to fall in love with this bump too!
I’ve been feeling the urge to have a project to do throughout my pregnancy. Last time I had Arthur’s cot to restore which was definitely a labour of love! I have a couple of deck chairs that I think are really ugly so thinking of sanding them down and painting them too, it shouldn’t be be anywhere near as much work as the cot which is good as it would be a Arthur nap time project!!!
My left leg is still driving me crazy, it’s really horrible. I don’t have a midwife appointment until the 19th but I’m definitely bringing it up with her when I see her!
Cravings
Not had any particular cravings this week, I’ve wanted junk food quite a lot, I’ve indulged this with after dinner chocolate or sweets! I did this with Arthur too I had to have chocolate after dinner every night, a really naughty habit to get into!!
Dislikes
Nothing at all!
Pop back next week for my 17 week update!
Lovely bump – it’s so nice when you start getting a definite bump appearing isn’t it? 🙂

There’s definitely a lovely bump appearing now! I love having one too, although I still think people are afraid to say anything haha. Glad you’re all settling in well xx

Awwww I loved being pregnant both times, it’s such an exciting time in your life. One of the highlights was when I first felt the babies kicking, must have been around this time. Magical!

Aww lovely little bump! I know what you mean about being out of the squishy phase and actually looking pregnant! Much nicer when people can tell you are pregnant rather than just wondering whether you have put on some weight! Lovely update and glad all is going well! Thanks for linking with #MaternityMondays
